    VIN INSPECTION

  1. Vehicle VIN plates match engine compartment, door jambs & dash
  2. VIN / FMVSS label on door jamb
  3. Perform VIN Status Inquiry check & perform applicable recall or campaign repairs

  4. MECHANICAL INSPECTION

    Minimum Replacement Items
  5. Engine oil & filter (with genuine Honda filter)
  6. Air filter if dirty or at service interval
  7. Brake fluid (if dirty/discolored or at service interval)
  8. Floor mats (replace mats, unless in good condition)
  9. Wiper blades (replace unless they wipe windshield clean)
  10. Coolant (replace if dirty or at service interval with genuine Honda fluid)
  11. Tires — minimum tread depth 5/32 across tread width
  12. Disc brake pads — if wear is greater than 50%
  13. Brake shoes — if wear is greater than 50%
  14. Antenna mast — if bent or sticking (if applicable)
  15. Automatic transmission fluid — if discolored or at service interval
  16. Differential fluid — if discolored or at service interval (if equipped)
  17. Rear differential fluid — if discolored or at service interval (if equipped)

  19. Nearest scheduled maintenance must be performed if within 3 months or 2500 miles of service interval, or if no record of service exists

  50. Fuel system operation (connections/leakage)

  55. Coolant (replace if discolored, insufficient protection)

  57. Power steering (fluid level, belt condition/tension)
  58. A/C compressor (proper cycling, belt condition/tension)
  59. Heater valve adjustment
  60. Engine valve noise
  61. Engine/transmission mount condition
  62. Engine (remove valve cover, verify adequate maintenance, one valve cover for V-6 engine)
